Conspiracy Fly #6--America Is NOT A Democracy!

That's right ladies and germs! America is NOT a democracy; it's a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC! It is important to understand that the Founding Fathers knew a great deal about the history of government and the details and fallacies of each different form of government, and they feared democracy just as much as they feared monarchy. The Founding Fathers were a group of people who were highly distrustful of government and felt that government should have the least amount of power possible to render it incapable of encroaching upon the rights and freedoms of the people, hence the reason why we have a constitution.

While there are certain similarities between a democracy and a Constitutional Republic (such as the use of democratic process to elect representatives and pass new laws) the major and crucial difference is that a Constitutional Republic has a CONSTITUTION which limits the power of the government by indicating strictly what the government can and cannot do. In a Constitutional Republic the PEOPLE ARE THE SOVEREIGNTY, and the elected government officials are nothing more that their public SERVANTS whose job is to REPRESENT the people at all political and international functions and hearings that concern the interests of the people. The people have NO obligation to the government and the government's relationship to the people is no different than a knight's relationship to his king. WE THE PEOPLE are the Kings and Queens of this country and the government officials we elect to represent us are nothing more than our pawns, bishops, and knights who must obey our every command without question.

The fear the Founding Fathers had regarding democracy is that democracy can often lead to mobocracy wherein majority rules, and the problem with majority rulings is that the average person can all to easily be swayed by various forms of propaganda thus abandoning all good sense and bending to the whims of manipulative tyrants seeking to manipulate the system to their advantage. As a not-so-hypothetical example, were this truly a democracy, propaganda could be use to manipulate enough gullible people into systematically voting away every one of the first ten amendments of the Constitution, or voting laws into place which could impair or infringe upon the first ten amendments of the Constitution (this of course is a direct poke at the present gun control controversy sweeping the nation right now). Conceivably, were this actually a democracy, the people could be swayed to vote supreme power over to a sole individual or group of individuals transforming this country into either a dictatorship or a communist state, but alas that is why we are a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC and have a CONSTITUTION. The first ten amendments of the Constitution (also known as the Bill of Rights or Unalienable Rights) make VERY CLEAR what the government can and cannot do, and it must also be noted and kept firmly in mind that the first ten amendments of the Constitution are of national effect and are declaratory and restrictive, superseding any and all contravening National and State Constitutions. This means quite simply that any and all laws and amendments (pro or con) which may be entered into record addressing the first ten amendments are UNCONSTITUTIONAL and therefore immediately nullified by the Constitution (so that quite literally makes Gun Control legislation ILLEGAL).

So in summation, we are NOT a democracy; we are a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC wherein WE THE PEOPLE are the sovereignty and the REPRESENTATIVES we elect to REPRESENT us are only our public SERVANTS and must do what we say when we fuckin' say it no if's, and's, or buts about it. The Constitution limits what the government can and can't do, and the first ten amendments of the Constitution are iron-clad and any attempt by the government to undermine them is UNCONSTITUTIONAL AND ILLEGAL! That's why they're called our unalienable rights.

I urge you all to do further research on this subject matter and educate yourselves further. WE THE PEOPLE are the rulers of this country, and its high time we started acting like it; starting by telling the president, congress, and the supreme court to GET BACK IN THE MOTHERFUCKIN' PLACE!!!
