Day of Fools! by IAmTheUnison Day of Fools! by IAmTheUnison
Perhaps not the greatest joke ever told, but it nevertheless gets my point across clearly. Not that I have much love for Conservatism either, but having talked to both Conservatives and Liberals and evaluated their respective ideals and values I have to honestly say that between the two of them Liberalism is definitely more deeply rooted in utter foolishness.

As General Patton was supposed to have said, "Politicians are the lowest form of life on the planet...and liberal democrats are the lowest form of politician." It's also worth noting that all the problems this country is presently facing is largely the fault of those political/corporate whores in Washington who's symbolic representation is actually that of a damn jackass (a most fitting representation)! For examples of Liberal incompetence, one need only look at the pitiful (yet very predictable) failure of Obamacare and the current state of well as practically every ghetto and slum in America.

When it comes to arguing Liberal ideals there are three big question which will destroy most arguments from the Left: "Compared to what?" "At what cost?" and "What hard evidence do you have?" I've read jokes on the internet which go on to further poke fun at the illogical nature akin to Liberalism such as it being the haunting fear that someone somewhere can help themselves, and that it is a state of mind in which someone's mind is so open that their brains fall out, and from my experiences talking with a lot of Liberals I'm forced to agree with these quips. It seems the primary problem with Liberalism is that those who partake too heavily of the philosophy are like little children living in a utopian dream world full of political correctness and free government-funded treats; completely blind to the harsh reality of the consequences which are inherently attached to such pipe dream fantasies, blind to the reality that politically correctness is just tyranny with a smile, there are no free rides in life; EVERYTHING comes at a price, and that any government big enough to give you anything you want can also take away everything you have...most particularly your freedom. After all is said and done, Liberalism is basically like logic's retarded cousin. =D

What's pissed me off about the more rabid ones is their hypocrisy. Everyone deserves tolerance and empathy, unless you disagree with them, in which case you're an uneducated, gun toting hillbilly with half your teeth gone.

The hypocrisy on the far left is indeed VERY shocking. I've recently come across some information which I shall create a piece for a soon as I do a little research to clarify, but if what I found is true it will just destroy the Liberal argument for gun control...not that there is much effort needed for that.

Amen, bud.

I'm not naive enough to say that if there was conservatism at the top of the hill we wouldn't have a host of *other* problems. I for one have grown fonder and fonder of balance.

I've debated with Conservatives about a heap of things too, same-sex marriage and cronifying capitalism being big issues.

But I will say this... Conservatives I debate with are generally much more tolerant and willing to provide empirical data. Three times out of ten when I ask a Liberal to provide hard data, they block me.

Anyway, happy belated April Fools!

dont worry, to me I find most donkeys to be an oxymoron of a liberal party. Like to me liberal are people with libertarian values like the one's preached by John Locke, Tom Paine, Thomas Jefferson, Adam Smith, John Stuart Mill, etc. long ago during the Western Philosophy boom of the 18th and 19th centuries.

You should do this on environmentalists.  Something like; "Happy Captain (Ted Turner) Planet day" or "Fern Gulley Paper plate day"

I'd sooner trust Pharaoh Menes (the dude who unified Ancient Egypt into a glorious empire) than a modern professional liar. Also... {whacks with rolled newspaper} THAT was for that horrible unfunny joke.
