It occurs to me that at times I am not the best model of an Anarchist, as I do identify my political views as being favorable to the principals of Anarchism, and as such I thought I'd make this little piece to help clarify the difference between my personal disposition and the actual ideals of Anarchy.
First thing to understand is that Anarchy is not a society without rules nor is it chaos, such attitudes are the byproduct of generations of misinformation and blatant ignorance. Anarchy literally means, "without rulers". Anarchism advocates the existence of a society without ruling bodies and figure heads; which means no kings, emperors, dictators, or presidents, and frankly in this day in age with the growing advancements in technology that we presently have they are an antiquated governing system anyway. The only real reason we needed a Congress and a president when this country was first formed was that it was not possible to get every member of our society together to discuss important issues and vote, so we elected representatives to represent our respective towns, cities, counties, and states, but now that we have this marvelous thing called the internet which is able to connect people all around the world there really isn't too great a need for fraudulent representatives who do more to represent their wallets and ignore the will of the people who elected them. Another important principal of Anarchy is Voluntarism, which is the idea that people willfully choose to participate and help out in society as opposed to be told to by some corrupt ruling class. Foolish Statists often question who will build and maintain the roads, run the schools, fund the hospitals, and defend our borders in the absence of a central government, and the answer Anarchy offers is those who willfully choose to do so by the virtue of their own free will.
The simple fact of the matter is that true Anarchy promotes peaceful cooperation and non-violent solutions to social problems. However, even though I agree and favor the ideals of Anarchy, I am a misanthrope before I am an anarchist. Misanthropy is the general hatred, distrust, or disdain of the human species and human nature. I am an advocate of liberty, free will, and voluntary cooperation and that is why I am an anarchist, but I also hate and distrust all humanity as a general rule and this makes me a misanthrope. I look throughout the world and all I see is evil people doing evil things and crushing the will and dreams of others while gullible mindless sheep look on and do nothing to stop the affronts to liberty and justice they see happening all around them, choosing instead to shove their empty heads up their butts and pretend there's nothing wrong. I look throughout history and grimace at all the injustices which have occurred and that continue to be repeated by a so-called "more advanced generation" which blindly ignores the past dooming itself to suffer the same mistakes of the throngs of fools who came before them. To borrow a line from "Le Misanthrope" (1666), "My hate is general, I detest all men. Some because they are wicked and do evil, others because they tolerate the wicked, refusing them the active vigorous scorn which vice should stimulate in virtuous minds." I am a misanthrope. I hated humanity with a fiery passion...and that hatred is well earned for mankind is a pathetic pitiful species which has been nothing but a plague and an affront to nature ever since its damned creation, and if there is a "God" which is truly responsible for man's existence then damn him too for plaguing the world with this vile virus called Humanity!
I am an anarchist, but I am misanthrope before I am an anarchist I will fight for liberty and free will, but I will curse mankind to its face the whole time damning it for being such an abysmal excuse for a lifeform and berating it for its infinite stupidity.
